Mrs. Ball lives in central Ohio with her husband, three children, and two spoiled Chihuahuas. She loves reading, as she was also a high school librarian during her 22 years of classroom teaching. Aside from teaching here at TRECA and at a community college, she enjoys seeing concerts (especially 80s artists), scrapbooking her kids' activities, and spending time up at Lake Erie. Her favorite things about teaching are getting new book recommendations from her students and helping her students feel more confident about - or at least less terrified by - academic writing.

• Favorite sport: Golf, it's the only one I am not extremely terrible at.
• Now playing:  Zac Brown Band is on my record player... wishing I was knee-deep in the water somewhere!
• First job: Bagging groceries at Kroger
