Students visit COSI

December 17, 2019

Posted in Events

On Friday, December 13, TRECA Digital Academy students visited the COSI in Columbus, OH.

Since its opening in 1964, COSI (the Center of Science and Industry) has expanded its programs and events offered to the public. Students explored COSI at their own pace, allowing them to spend more time at the exhibits that most interested them. Many students enjoyed the Dinosaur Gallery, learning about biomechanics, what dinosaurs ate, and how fossils are preserved.

As students strolled through other exhibits, they learned about the impact of science and technology on the human race, the power and properties of water, and how waves form! Students also visited the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle exhibit, where they put teamwork into practice by problem-solving their way through puzzles, mazes, and obstacles. There is always so much to see and learn at COSI!

A big thank you to COSI for an educational and fun field trip!
