Students Visit COSI

On December 2, TRECA Digital Academy students visited COSI in Columbus, OH.

Students explored many exhibits within COSI. At the Energy exhibit, students learned where energy comes from, how energy powers the world, and why the energy choices you make matter. In the dinosaur gallery, we learned about the speed and range of movement of some dinosaurs, how dinosaurs lived, and how scientists study dinosaurs. Some of the other exhibits students visited included In the Ocean to learn about the power and properties of water, Progress to learn about the impact of science and technology on human life, and Pterosaurs - Flight in the Age of Dinosaurs to have a firsthand look at casts of rare pterosaur fossils.
