Students Visit the Ohio History Center

On October 27, TRECA Digital Academy students visited the Ohio History Center in Columbus, OH.

Students visited the Ohio Village on a guided tour where costumed interpreters told the story of the economic, social and political life in Ohio during the 1800s. TRECA students visited several buildings along the way, including the school house, funeral parlor, pharmacy, and women’s study club. Within the Ohio History Center, students learned about ancient fossils and take a self-guided tour through the museum to learn about nature in ancient Ohio, how glaciers shaped the state, incredible fossils, and Ohio throughout time.
