Students Visit COSI on First Summer Field Trip

On June 7, TRECA Digital Academy students visited COSI. Students learned about science, health, and history through several interactive exhibits. Students explored COSI at their own pace, allowing them the opportunity to see as many exhibits as possible and spend more time at the exhibits that most interested them. 

Students explored the new exhibit, “Tutankhamun: His Tomb and His Treasures.” This exhibit offered students insights into the archeological explorations in Egypt via an audio tour through burial chambers and treasures exactly as they were discovered in 1922. Along with classic exhibits, students visited “Superheroes: Life at the Limits,” which offers an exciting exploration of the world’s most remarkable organisms. These organisms use diverse strategies and adaptations to aid in survival, like mammals surviving hours without breathing or an ultra-tough species that seems almost indestructible!
