On April 5, TRECA Digital Academy students visited the Harding Presidential Sites in Marion, OH.
Students visited the restored Harding Home, the newly constructed Harding Presidential Library and Museum, and the Harding Memorial all honoring the 29th President of the United States, Warren G. Harding. The Harding Home is best known as the site of the President’s 1920 “Front Porch Campaign” is a restored National Landmark that features 95% of the original furnishings owned by President Harding and his wife Florence. The Presidential Library and Museum, showcased the life of President Harding and the First Lady. As students explored the museum, they were given myths to either debunk or confirm. After the guided tour, students had the opportunity to drive to the Harding Memorial and view the elaborate presidential tombs that serve as the final resting place for President Harding and the First Lady.Facebook Share Twitter Tweet
