On October 30, TRECA Digital Academy students visited Stratford Ecological Center.
Stratford is a non-profit educational farm and state nature preserve that sits on 236 acres in Delaware County. During our hands-on visit, students learned about the relationship between living things, Earth’s natural processes, and where their food comes from. Families toured the sunflower garden, chicken coop, greenhouse, and barn while learning about sustainable practices and the importance of replacing cut trees. Students also saw and pet some of the animals on the farm and tasted freshly pressed apple cider.
