Students Volunteer with the Mid-Ohio Food Collective

On November 29, TRECA Digital Academy students volunteered with the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.

The Mid-Ohio Food Collective is committed to ending hunger, stabilizing families, and helping customers thrive. Their mission is to end hunger one nourishing meal at a time while co-creating communities where everyone thrives. The store is open Monday-Saturday and families can visit the store once per week. Students were tasked with getting the market ready before they opened for the day by stocking products onto shelves and in freezers, tearing down boxes, sweeping the floors, and unpacking produce. Students and families were very eager to volunteer and enjoyed helping staff.
