On November 12, TRECA students visited COSI in Columbus, OH.
Through hands-on learning, students gained a better understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics. Families took a self-guided tour through over 300 interactive experiences across galleries, exhibits, the planetarium, and live shows. Students also visited the special interactive exhibit, The Science Behind Pixar, which showcased the science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) concepts used by the artists and computer scientists who help bring Pixar’s award-winning films to the big screen. With more than 50 interactive elements, the exhibition’s eight sections each focused on a step in the filmmaking process to give students an unparalleled view of the production pipeline and concepts used at Pixar every day.
