Students Visit the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum

On February 28, TRECA students visited the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum on a field trip.

This one-of-a-kind presidential library incorporates a history museum, interactive science center, planetarium, and research library into a single adventure. Students learned about dinosaurs and ice age animals, and explored the rock and mineral area. They learned about habitats and food chains and explored interactive physical science exhibits. Families also took the American Heritage Tour where students went back in time and discovered how people lived 200 years ago. After the tour, students watched a planetarium program to view the night sky, see constellations, and learn about astronomy!
