On October 9, students visited Blacklick Woods Metro Park in Reynoldsburg, OH.
Families began the field trip by exploring the nature center, which featured exhibits on local ecology and natural history. Then, a naturalist led students on a hike to learn about animal migration, vernal pools, and hibernation. Families ended the visit with the Canopy Walk, a boardwalk 40 feet off the ground that winds through the treetops.
