On October 23, students visited the Greater Cleveland Aquarium in Cleveland, OH.
Students split into groups for a tour through the aquarium galleries. Families saw more than 250 species and over 3,600 animals across a variety of ecosystems. Some of the animals included catfish, stingrays, eels, sharks, and piranhas. Students also had a chance to touch marine invertebrates and stingrays. Along the tour, families learned about the difference between freshwater and saltwater environments, animal adaptations, and how our actions impact aquatic environments.
