TRECA Students Learn About Animal Behavior

On May 29, TRECA students took a field trip to The Farm at Walnut Creek in Sugarcreek, OH. 

The Farm at Walnut Creek hosts over 500 animals from six continents, including giraffes, camels, kangaroos, bison, and deer. During a wagon ride, students learned about animal behavior, conservation, and the importance of preserving wildlife habitats. Families then toured the working farm to see sustainable farming and animal care in action. Some highlights included the blacksmith shop, non-electric farm houses, and an aviary.
