Dr. Bernhard has been teaching for over nine years, but recently joined TRECA. She has taught in the high school setting in Michigan and Ohio, and in universities in Beijing, China, and Columbus, Ohio. Her husband is a middle school science teacher, and they have identical twin girls and two Australian shepherds. She played soccer and lacrosse in college and is still active in coaching.
