Mrs. Simpson has been teaching middle school English and Montessori preschool for the last ten years in Kansas, Indiana, and her home state, Ohio. Mrs. Simpson enjoys learning from her students and finds inspiration from their interests and ideas. You can find her working in the garden with her husband and infant son, Russell, or sleuthing along the edges of a hiking trail, scouting for birds with her trusty binoculars. She and her husband also run races up to the half marathon distance and are looking forward to completing their first race with Russell soon! Her family also includes two cats, Whisky and Jamie, who think they are snuggly dogs and enjoy fetching toys and riding on their humans' shoulders around the house.
