Mrs. Schaurer (or Mrs. S) wrote down her goal of becoming a teacher at age nine! Before joining TRECA, she taught high school English in both traditional and online schools. She’s passionate about building relationships with her students and hopes to inspire a genuine love of learning. Mrs. S is married and has three daughters—identical twins in college and a younger daughter in high school. She met her husband while working as a personal trainer in the evenings to earn extra money. Her faith is very important to her, and in her free time, she loves working out, making healthy recipes, reading and researching, spending time with friends, and traveling (especially to Florida).
