What is SEL?

SEL stands for Social Emotional Learning. SEL skills help young people manage stress, handle difficult emotions, make big decisions, and build healthy relationships with others. You can learn more about SEL here. To learn SEL skills, students in grades K-12 will work through lessons in Compass Curriculum. 

 

What is Compass Curriculum?

Students in grades K-12 are invited to use the program Compass Curriculum. Through fun, weekly adventures, students can grow and develop their SEL skills. Adult Learning Partners are encouraged to help their student work through the lessons each week.

Getting Started with Compass Curriculum

To get started, you will log into Clever. Select Log in with Clever and then enter your Brightspace username and password.

Make sure the school district name is TRECA Digital Academy. If it is not, click Not Your District? and select TRECA Digital Academy in TRECA Digital Academy, OH from the school search list. Once you are logged in, go to More Apps and select Compass Curriculum.

Next, click My Lessons and begin exploring and working in the lessons that are waiting for you!
